HB Studios Sports Centre is a facility with the focus on recreation, health and wellness!

Here are a few of the regular activities that are held at our facilities. There may be more events on the go, and we encourage everyone to look at our Event Calendar for more information on what’s happening at the facility.

Imagination Playground

Imagination Playground provides children AGES 5 and Under and their adult caregivers an opportunity for open play in an inclusive and safe environment.

Due to liability we can not allow older children to take part in this program but we do have other opportunities for them to play on on the field. Please ask about these other events.This group is helping to build a community — including parents, educators, caregivers, researchers, and leaders — united by a belief in the importance of creative free play to help our children learn physical literacy and develop social competencies to grow up to be happy and healthy individuals. This also gives caregivers an opportunity to connect and network with others in this same stage of life.

We want to thank the United Way – Maritimes for partially funding this program. This partnership helps makes this program FREE from September 2026 to the of May 2027!

Drop In Rugby

We host drop in rugby through the Bright and Lion Rugby Club. Come enjoy playing rugby and meeting other people with similar interests.

Join us every Wednesday starting October 7, 2026 8–9 PM [COST $10]

Monthly Walking Challenges

Our users compete in monthly walking challenges. By completing the challenge you get a ballot for the monthly draw.
